American College of Gastroenterology
The American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) aims to advance the scientific study and medical practice of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. More than 9,000 physicians from 75 countries are members of the ACG. The ACG provides a wide range of educational programs emphasizing clinically oriented topics, including the Annual Scientific Meeting.

American Gastroenterological Association
The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) has 15,500 members including physicians and scientists who research, diagnose, and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. The organization’s annual meeting is Digestive Disease Week, which is the largest international gathering of physicians, researchers and academics in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery.
